What will my role be as a Casual Multi Skilled Theatre Technician?

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes
supporting and supervising (when on shift) all general technical aspects of Your Trust performance spaces to facilitate the
delivery of shows, events, functions and meetings along with adequate preparation of rooms and facilities. This also includes
supporting the Technical Management Team to deliver high quality technical services, liaise with clients and maintain a safe
working environment along with being the technical representative for Your Trust for technical management, operations and
production and health and safety when on shift.




What do I need to have?

* Qualified to Level 2/3 or equivalent in a relevant subject or qualified by practical experience
* Experience of stage lighting design, setup and control
* Experience of sound setup and control
* Experience of supporting public performances as a technician
* Hold IOSH Managing Safely or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months
* Knowledge of theatre counterweight flying systems and mechanical loading systems
* Proactive and innovative with ability to work without supervision
* Ability to work within a team with common objectives
* Good organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines
* Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management skills
