We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Manager to support the continuous growth and operational development of our retail business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a long-term career in business development and retail operations.
No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, footfall, and business performance
• Identify opportunities for new business partnerships, community engagement, and service expansion
• Support long-term business planning and strategic projects

Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyse weekly and monthly sales data
• Monitor KPIs such as profitability, stock performance, and wastage
• Prepare clear business reports with insights and recommendations

Supplier & Product Management
• Support supplier communications and negotiations
• Assist with planning product ranges and seasonal offers
• Monitor stock levels and ensure efficient inventory processes

Marketing & Local Engagement
• Contribute to marketing plans, promotional activities, and in-store campaigns
• Conduct competitor research to support commercial decision-making
• Help manage digital initiatives, including social media promotions

Operational Support
• Improve business processes across stock control, compliance, and customer experience
• Support store management with operational planning and improvements
• Participate in store visits, audits, and quality assessments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• No prior experience required
• Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Good analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, email, reporting tools)
• Ability to work independently after training
