Demand Analyst: Join a Leading Manufacturing Business in Cambridge!

Are you a detail-oriented, analytical thinker ready to make a significant impact on a leading horticulture business? We are looking for a Demand Analyst to join our Supply Chain team in Cambridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing forecasts, supporting efficient production planning, and ensuring our innovative gardening products are delivered cost-effectively.

The Role: What You'll Do

As our Demand Analyst, you will manage a defined forecast area, working closely with Sales, Production, and Inbound Supply teams.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Own the forecast for a defined division, collaborating with Sales to build a robust demand plan.

  • Support the planning of approximately 2,400 finished goods SKUs and the purchasing of around 4,500 raw material and packaging SKUs.

  • Provide accurate reporting and insights to inform production and purchasing decisions.

  • Assist with stock balancing between warehouses , KPI reporting , and system/SKU management (BOMs, NPD phase-in/out).

  • Support Production Planners and the Inbound Supply Team with PO management, capacity reporting, and supply chain projects.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a collaborative , adaptable , and solution-oriented individual with a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn.

Required Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience in forecasting / demand planning, ideally within a seasonal business.

  • Excellent Excel skills and commercial awareness.

  • Understanding of MRP / ERP systems.

  • Expertise in stock management.

  • A logical thinker, able to navigate challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Broader supply chain experience (e.g., production planning, buying, inbound supply).

  • Knowledge of NPD (New Product Development) processes.
