About the Role As a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist, you will: Carry a complex caseload to include major adaptations under Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs), moving and handling and postural assessments. Advise and support OTs with complex casework, as required. Lead OT Peer Supervision groups. Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to promote functional independence, wellbeing, and inclusive practice for adults with diverse needs. Work alongside OT Team Managers to share clinical expertise. About You You are an HCPC-registered occupational therapist with extensive post-qualification experience in adult social care. You have: Substantial experience in housing adaptations, including DFG processes and major structural changes. Expert knowledge of moving and handling principles, risk assessment, and advisory practice. Expertise in postural management and seating solutions for complex physical needs. In- depth knowledge of legislation including, but not exclusive to, the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Housing, and Moving and Handling. A strong commitment to person-centred, strengths-based approaches Skills in mentoring, clinical supervision, and evidence-informed practice Excellent communication, decision-making, and partnership working abilities.
