Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems.
- Service and inspect portable fire-fighting equipment.
- Work on mechanical fire suppression systems and perform room integrity testing.
- Install and maintain intruder alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
- Configure and maintain automated gates and barrier systems.
- Set up and manage remote monitoring solutions for security systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant British Standards and health & safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire and security engineering.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and security system standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., FIA training, BAFE Certified, NSI training) are mandatory.
- Valid Enhanced DBS
