The Best Connection are pleased to be working in conjunction with our client based in the Chiswick area of West London to recruit a FLT yard Operative to join their established team on a Monday to Friday basis
We are seeking an experienced FLT Operative who is willing to work within both their Warehouse and Yard environment, The job can be for someone who has experience on either counterbalance or reach forklift as refresher training can be supported with
Responsibilities of the FLT Yard Operative will include but not be limited to
- Using an FLT to unload barrels and pallets from HGV's
- Helping out with heavy lifting and shifting within the yard environment
- Using an FLT to move items around different areas of the site
- Using an FLT to pick large and bulky items and load outgoing HGV's
- Helping with any other duties or elements of the job role as reasonably requested
Requirement's of the FLT Yard Operative
- Ability to travel to the Chiswick area of West London independently
- Flexibility to work with a team environment helping out with various aspects of the job role as reasonably requested
Hours of work
- Will typically be 40 hours per week
- Hours are Monday to Friday and hours can vary with starts as early as 7-3, 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6 depending on the needs of the business
Rates of pay
- Starts on £13.10 per hour rising to £14.65 after 12 continuous weeks working
