Pay Rate:£12.21 per hour
Work Address:Woodland View Primary School Sutton-in-Ashfield NG17 2LH
Role Purpose:
To carry out cleaning duties within the school, specifically covering offices and nursery areas, due to two current vacancies and one long-term staff absence. The role helps ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning offices, nursery rooms, and communal areas
Hoovering, mopping, and general floor maintenance
Wiping and sanitising desks, surfaces, and touch points
Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
Maintaining cleanliness to school and NCC standards
Ensuring safe use of cleaning materials and equipment
Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check required
Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential
Ability to work independently and reliably
Good attention to detail and awareness of hygiene standards!
