Crynodeb
General purpose:
Working within the Service Management Team, supervising team members in duties and performance, providing feedback where necessary and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to management. Direct and oversee team members to ensure daily operations align with the vision of the company. Strictly adhere to deadlines by communicating expectations to team members, setting goals, motivating team members, and disciplining where necessary. Overseeing the customer service aspect of the department and stepping in when a customer is unhappy with the outcome of an interaction with a team member. Promoting the goals of the company and department on a daily basis with each employee, while optimising and improving the bottom line of the company.
Key deliverables:
• Direct supervision of staff
• Operation and administration of web-based HR system
• Ordering, checking and goods receipting
• Allocation of work / routes
• Route planning / timetables
• Investigating complaints / incidents
• Arranging of DBS / schools badges with PCC
• Compliance monitoring of routes and buildings
• Supporting the Transport Manager with vehicle / driver compliance
• Arranging vehicle repairs with garages
• Pricing jobs and producing quotes for customers
• Stock control
Requirements – experience:
• People Management
• Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
• Passenger Transport / Building Cleaning background
• Writing quality reports
• Investigations / complaints
• Recruitment & selection
• Logistical knowledge of Peterborough
• Working within a team
• Purchase ordering, checking and receipting
• Confident communicator, face to face with clients as well as over the telephone
• Knowledge of PSV regulations or willingness to learn
Requirements – qualifications
ESSENTIAL
• Maths & English, GCSE C or above
• People Management Qualification
• Full clean driving licence
DESIRABLE
• Category D or unrestricted D1 driving qualification, or willingness to learn
• IOSH
• Qualification in H & S
• Management or Leadership Qualification
