About us
McDonalds Bakers is a well established family run traditional bakery business based in Glasgow (Trongate, Union Street & Govan Shopping Centre). We have three busy bakery/
coffee shops serving fresh bakery produce, hot filled rolls, salad rolls, savouries, cakes, coffees and teas. We are currently looking for a Manager to join our team.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and motivated Manager who strives to ensure the highest possible standards are being delivered by every member of the team. As a
Manager you will support a team of shop Supervisors and assistants in following and implementing all policies and procedures, ensuring the shop is clean and welcoming,
promoting a great atmosphere and customer experience. You will take charge of all aspects of the daily running of the shop and be focused on delivering excellent standards,
great products and most importantly ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered by the whole team.

Main responsibilities:
• Lead and inspire a team of shop Supervisors and Assistants.
• Manage and delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
• Liaise with the Head Office.
• Consistently provide excellent customer service.
• Undertake operational standards within the shop.
• Support all new colleagues ensuring they are made to feel welcome and are fully supported with their induction and ongoing training.
• Implement and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that our shops are well presented and maintain excellent standards within the shop.
• Ensure the quality of our products is maintained throughout the day.
• Support and encourage the development of the team.
• Prepare and serve high quality, freshly made rolls, filled salad rolls, hot filled rolls,
savouries and hot drinks etc.
• Cash handling, cashing up and banking duties
• Stock rotation, processing all deliveries and complete administrative tasks.

Requirements:
Good communication and leadership skills
Previous experience within a supervisory role, preferably within the food or hospitality sector
Flexibility with working hours & early morning starts
Excellent customer service.
