Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria
Contract Type: Temporary Supply
Hours:
• Part time
• Hours - 8.30am till 3:30pm (Monday to Wednesday)
• Start Date: January 2026 - July 2026
• Pay: £12.85 – £14.50 per hour (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay, subject to age and experience)

Hannett Hale Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant experienced in Reception stage for the lovely school in Whitehaven.

About the Role

• Provide support in the Reception age classroom
• General classroom duties and learning activities
• Support in delivering engaging and safe lessons
• Build positive relationships with pupils and contribute to a nurturing school environment

What We’re Looking For

• Recent experience working in a EYFS setting
• A recognised EYFS/ TA qualification
• A caring, proactive approach and strong teamwork skills
• Flexibility and enthusiasm to support across different parts of the school day
