Teamforce Labour is actively recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter Foreman to join a major infrastructure project based in Iver, Buckinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for long-term work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of shuttering carpenters, ensuring all formwork activities are carried out safely, accurately, and in line with programme and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate shuttering carpentry teams on site
- Ensure works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with drawings and method statements
- Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and enforce safety standards
- Liaise with engineers, site management and subcontractors to deliver scheduled works efficiently
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment relevant to the task
- Provide mentoring and on-site training to junior operatives as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in shuttering carpentry, with previous foreman or supervisory experience essential
- Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – NVQ Level 2 in Formwork
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately
- Safety Critical Medical
- Two checkable references
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Up to date CV
