At Cawston Church of England Primary Academy, we are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work with a child with SEND for 4 afternoons per week.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience of working with children with SEND.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C/grade 4 or above.
- Ability to establish positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Ability to work under the direction of the class teacher and as part of a team.
- Ability to be able to use initiative to support learning and behaviour.
- Ability to provide individual, small group and whole class support both in and out of the classroom.
- Willingness to promote Christian Values and uphold the Christian ethos of the school.
- Willingness to participate in training and development.
Working Hours
The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30.
