What You’ll Need
- Level 3 Early Years (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Leadership experience (or readiness to step into it)
- Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to complete training)
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of your nursery room
- Create a warm, inclusive environment that promotes learning through play and the EYFS.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate activities
- Guide, mentor and support your team, ensuring consistent, high-quality practice.
- Build strong relationships with families, offering clear communication and a welcoming presence.
- Maintain accurate observations, records and compliance within the nursery’s policies
