Contract: Permanent Full-Time Salary: £38,682 - £46,580 per annum (pro rata), plus a whole range of Marie Curie employee benefits Location: Liverpool Hospice Key highlights: Act as an autonomous practitioner, managing a caseload and conducting home or outpatient assessments. Provide expert advice and support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, promoting seamless care coordination. Facilitate advance care planning and sensitive conversations about future care needs. Lead on education and mentorship for other professionals, sharing best practice in palliative care. Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and governance activities within the IMPACT model. Collaborate with partner organisations to ensure timely access to care and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with advanced knowledge of palliative care, strong communication skills, and a passion for improving end-of-life experiences through integrated, patient-centred care. What we're looking for: Registered Nurse on NMC register (Adult) Relevant Nursing Degree Relevant post-registration qualification (minimum Level 6) Experience working in Specialist Palliative Care Expert knowledge of complex symptom management. Knowledge of best practice standards in end of life care and management of loss, grief, and bereavement. Know how to influence multi-professional team decision making about complex palliative and end of life care matters. Work with patients, their family, and carers to gather feedback and make improvements to end of life experiences.
