JOB DESCRIPTION: Associate Minister
We are seeking passionate and committed evangelical/Pentecostal Believers to join our ministry team. The ideal candidates will have a strong calling and motivation to serve, teach, and lead in both spiritual and practical areas, especially among young people and multicultural communities.
Key Requirements:
Must be a committed, born-again Christian with exemplary character consistent with the calling of a Christian minister.
Strong teaching ability with experience in preparing Bible study materials and leading both in-person and digital evangelism initiatives.
Ability to lead contemporary congregational worship.
Proven experience in working with youth and young adults, including organising and providing pastoral care and support.
Deep understanding of West African or Caribbean cultures. Proficiency in at least one local West African language is highly desirable.
Training in ministry or pastoral leadership, and evidence of ordination is preferred (a recommendation from a local pastor may be considered).
Core Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral care and support to individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, particularly migrants whose first language is not English.
Offer leadership in youth and young adult ministries, including mentoring, discipleship, and community engagement.
Assist the Lead Pastor and church leadership team in developing and growing the ministry.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of worship services, both in-person and online.
Serve as a bridge between cultural backgrounds, helping the congregation engage meaningfully with the gospel in a culturally sensitive way.
