Summary
We are seeking an experienced Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join a busy service supporting individuals at the point of entry into treatment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in substance misuse and will be confident carrying out assessments, engaging service users, and coordinating appropriate interventions.
Location: Hull (Trafalgar House, Beverley Road)
Contract: 2 Months (Possible Extension)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Conduct initial telephone and face-to-face assessments for new referrals

Book appointments and manage service user contact

Complete personalised assessments (full training provided)

Engage service users and ensure they access the correct support pathways

Develop and maintain Service User Plans to track progress, goals, and risks

Provide advice on treatment options and harm minimisation

Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery

Essential: Previous experience working as a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker

Strong communication and engagement skills

Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload

Confident in carrying out assessments and writing plans
