Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a leading national logistics company based at their Glasgow hub. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers seeking consistent weekday work with great rates of pay and the potential for permanent employment.

Job Details

  • Hours: 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

  • Shifts: Weekdays only - no weekends

  • Contract Type: Temporary to permanent

  • Start Date: Immediate starts available

  • Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas

Pay Rates

  • PAYE: £15.00 - £22.00 per hour

  • Umbrella PAYE: £17.50 - £25.00 per hour

  • Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per day

About the Role

As an HGV Class 2 Day Driver, you will complete 8-12 multi-drop deliveries per day around Glasgow and the surrounding area. You will be driving a modern, well-maintained fleet and supported by an experienced transport team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and in line with driving regulations.

  • Complete multi-drop deliveries to customers and clients.

  • Maintain accurate records and delivery documentation.

  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

  • Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.

  • Previous multi-drop experience preferred.

  • Good local route knowledge and a professional, safety-first approach.
