Job Details
Shift Pattern: Back shift
- Monday to Thursday: 11:00 - 20:00
- Friday: 11:00 - 16:00
Pay Rate:
- Days: £15.37 per hour
- Overtime: £20.50 per hour (paid after 39 hours)
Requirements
- Experience in goods in / yard role
- FLT licence and experience
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines
- Physical stamina, as the role involves manual handling
Responsibilities
- Supporting and closely working with gatehouse and all yard team to organise deliveries into goods in
- Unloading and decanting pallets, checking GRN's and raise any discrepancies or defects
- Helping to maintain accurate inventory records and reporting any discrepancies
- Maintaining detailed records of material movements and deliveries in a timely manner
- Picking, checking, storing, and packing automotive goods either manually or using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy
- Pump trucking stacks of full totes and sorting them to the appropriate department
- Preparing products for shipment and ensuring accurate loading
- Loading and unloading trailers safely according to procedures
- Regular heavy lifting
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety and reporting any concerns
- Assisting with inventory counting and stock investigations when needed
