• Unqualified Actual Salary per annum: £19,042.14 (FTE: £25,389.52 Salary per annum)
• 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
• Commencement: January 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks).
About this Role
ATTFE College are seeking a Uniformed Services Tutor to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ provider, to help give learners locally and in the wider community a chance to learn, and progress further in their lives.
As a Uniformed Services Tutor you will deliver appropriate learning in a range of Curriculum Areas, high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Uniformed Services and Level 3 Policing qualifications. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential and progress into employment or further study within the uniformed services sector.
The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. It is essential that you have previous experience working within the uniformed services (e.g. Military, Police, Fire service) and have strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
You would be working from both our Sutton, Ollerton campuses, and in the wider community so a driving licence and own vehicle is mandatory as you will be expected to drive between venues.
Salary is dependent on qualification status. If appointed as unqualified, the salary will increase to the qualified rate upon achieving qualified status.
