We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Covering all aspects of transport logistics including warehousing –
. Order entry on our TMS
. Speaking with customers, drivers & depots via telephone
. Responding to emails
. Finance and Legal aspects of transport
. Warehousing and storage
. Development into Pallet Network, UK planning & European Transport including customs, imports and exports
Qualifications required: GCSE maths and English at Grade 4 or above – Desirable
Future prospects: Development into Pallet Network, UK planning & European Transport inc customs, imports and exports.
Desired skills and qualities: Confident, must be able to work in a team, good communication/telephone skills, attention to detail , computer literate.
Working week: Mon – Fri , hours TBC
Other requirements: Driving licence preferred, must be over the 18 due to the nature of the role.
Training: Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley College and your place of work. Student to complete a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship.
