Job Advert

As a Car Park Attendant you will have a passion for great customer service and will provide a 5-star customer experience for all visitors to The Helix.

In this post your primary responsibility will be taking payment for parking from our visitors whilst also providing information about The Helix and other areas of interest around Falkirk and beyond. The role is vital to The Helix as in most cases you will be the first point of contact for our visitors and the impression you give them is the one that lasts. In addition to these tasks you will also be required to perform some basic tasks that help with the upkeep of The Helix, including litter picking and basic car park maintenance. We are looking for individuals who display a positive attitude, are passionate, organised and can successfully work as part of a team. A strong willingness to learn is also critical.

The position is 19.25 hours per week on a variable shift pattern which operates across 7 days on a 4 weekly rotation and will include regular weekend working. This is an evening role and the shift is typically from 4.30pm – 10.15pm. The post is temporary until 31st October 2026.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please fill in the form on My Job Scotland with as much detail as possible to allow us to get the possible picture of who you are and what your experiences have been.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out a Disclosure Scotland check.

If you have any questions about the role, please contact David Moody, Visitor Services Supervisor on 01324 590600.
