Summary
Come and join the wonderful team at Hotwells Children's House working one to one supporting a child with additional needs to access play and learning opportunities in our Montessori Nursery. You will be working as part of a team of highly qualified Early Years and Montessori Teachers, in a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment. You will focus on building a strong relationship with the child, allowing you to support their wellbeing, involvement and inclusion throughout the nursery day.
You will be well supported by experience SENDCOs and teachers, and you will help to implement the child's SEN Support Plan, using strategies to support their communication and interaction.
This is a fixed term role, linked to the child's attendance and funding - it will likely be until July 2027 when the child starts school. We are a term time only setting, and the hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10.30 - 4.00.
You will ideally have experience supporting children with additional needs or working more generally with children or you will have an Early Years Qualification at Level 2 or 3. You will also be a clear communicator, and have an interest in supporting children's communication.
