Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our Outstanding Nursery in Audlem.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has the drive to make a positive impact on young lives. This role can be 2 days with an option for overtime when required and available.
Duties:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and lessons
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities and progress
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development
- Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and meets health and safety standards
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare)
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
