We have a vacancy for a dedicated and disciplined Driver/Fitter to join our busy operations team. Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of a wide range of hire equipment which includes a significant amount of towing trailers and plant. The role demands professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to ensuring our customers receive the best service possible.
Key responsibilities include:
• Efficiently delivering and collecting hire equipment with accurate record keeping.
• Safe loading and unloading at depot and on site.
• Ensuring quality handovers to customers on site.
• Regularly maintaining and checking vehicles & trailers.
• Supporting with plant and tool maintenance tasks as directed.
• Acting as a reliable ambassador for our company.
Work Location & Hours:
• Location: From our Head Office in Lincoln
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00, including lunch and tacho breaks.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:
• Full UK driving license.
• Confidence and competence driving a variety of light goods vehicles.
• Experience in towing trailers and plant equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic IT proficiency.
• Accurate record keeping and acceptance of accountability.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience using tachographs.
• Prior experience in the Plant & Tool Hire industry.
• Practical knowledge of the range of equipment on our website www.vicgroup.co.uk
