ASSISTANT REGIONAL OPERATION MANAGER
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri)
Location: Based at Trinity Buoy Wharf, E14 0JW
G4S Facilities Management are looking for an experienced Assistant Regional Operations Manager to oversee and manage daily operations for the Liftco portfolio across a cluster of sites in London. This critical role demands full P&L responsibility for the designated area and includes managing client relationships and the supply chain. The post holder must guarantee all service delivery meets SLA/KPI targets, adheres to rigorous technical standards, and strictly complies with all contract requirements.
This will be on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, based at Trinity Buoy Wharf
Responsibilities
Ensuring that all Liftco sites operate to the highest quality standards in Health & Safety, Statutory Compliance, Maintenance, Commercial compliance, SLA & KPI Compliance, and Penalty or availabilities.
Implementing, maintaining, and delivering a program of ongoing planned maintenance across all sites to ensure ongoing high standards of service to the client, in line with contract specifications.
Maintaining regular customer contact, communications, updates, and reports and identifying, discussing, and implementing opportunities to improve contract performance with the Contract Manager/Account Director or client.
In collaboration with Works Controllers manage and resolve issues raised in client meetings and emails.
Working with project teams to deliver work in a manner that positively promotes G4S to the client and the client’s tenants.
Maintaining and reviewing the annual financial budget for all sites within the job holder’s area of responsibility.
Carrying out monthly reviews
Daily review of and update of the Issues Tracker
Issuing written Helpdesk User Instructions monthly
Attending monthly Management Team meetings
Attending a monthly meeting with Tenant representatives
Essential requirements
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across all levels
Skilled in understanding others' perspectives and guiding discussions towards positive outcomes
Ability to foster a sense of trust and responsibility in clients, tenants, and landlords
Strong commercial awareness and proven negotiation skills with external customers and representatives
Experience in managing PFI contracts, particularly performance measures
Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures
Knowledge of water hygiene
Familiarity with quality control, work planning, planned maintenance systems, and CAFM
Ability to effectively manage and coordinate various technical contractors
Ability to set clear direction, inspire and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
