Walfinch Home Care Newcastle is expanding, and we’re looking for a full-time Female Care Assistant who wants regular weekly hours, a structured rota, and a role with real stability.

What We Offer
£13.50 per hour
35p per mile (between visits)
Regular weekly hours as part of a structured full-time rota
Shifts planned in advance, including early mornings, evenings and alternate weekends
Permanent contract
28 days paid holiday (pro-rata)
Paid induction and training at our North Shields office
Funded NVQ qualifications (Levels 2, 3 and 5)
Supportive management team with 24/7 on-call support
Uniform & PPE provided
Professional, well-organised branch within a respected national network
On-site parking at the office
Your Role
You’ll support clients across North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Newcastle with:
Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing)
Medication assistance and safe recording
Meal preparation and hydration
Light household tasks and shopping
Companionship and social support
Recording notes using our simple mobile app
You’re helping people stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.
What We’re Looking For
Female applicant (due to a genuine occupational requirement)
Driver with your own car
Comfortable offering availability across early mornings, evenings and alternate weekends
Reliable, empathetic and confident supporting people one-to-one
Strong communicator and team player
Experience in care is helpful but not essential — we provide full training
Someone who values structure, stability and high standards
