Project Administrator
Location: Buckshaw Village, Chorley
Salary: up to £29,000
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–1pm

I’m supporting a well-established contract textiles business situated in their modern offices in Buckshaw Village. They’re now looking for a highly organised, energetic Project Administrator to join their Operations Team and help keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

This isn’t “just an office role” – alongside the core admin and project duties, there are elements of scheduling, booking accommodation for fitters, and the opportunity to get out of the office for client visits, trade shows and supplier meetings. There’s also strong progression potential for the right person.

If you’re confident with MS Office, quick to pick things up, and enjoy keeping everything moving in a fast-paced environment, this is worth a look.

The Role
You’ll sit at the centre of the operations team, handling a varied mix of project admin, estimating, procurement and order processing. Day-to-day you’ll be:
• Supporting the team with accurate project costings
• Gathering pricing from UK and overseas suppliers
• Preparing project schedules and timelines
• Processing technical, detailed production orders
• Managing stock requirements and procurement
• Analysing sales data to support forecasting and planning
• Handling general office admin when required
• Getting involved with new business opportunities
• Booking hotels and arranging travel for fitters and site teams
• Helping coordinate schedules across multiple projects

What They’re Looking For
They’re after someone switched-on, adaptable and confident working with detailed information.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel essential)
• Sage or Xero knowledge a bonus (not essential)
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work quickly and change priorities when needed
• Clear, personable, confident communicator
• Proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in
• Must be able to reliably commute to Buckshaw Village (office-based only)

What’s on Offer
• Up to £29,000 salary (OTE)
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Onsite parking
• Supportive, close-knit team environment
• Great progression and professional development opportunities
• Modern, well-equipped office
