What You’ll Need
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a care assistant in a residential or nursing home
- Understanding of person-centred care planning principles
- Awareness of safeguarding, abuse prevention, and recognising signs of abuse
- Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans
- Supervise and guide a team of care assistants to maintain best practices
- Recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns, following correct procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team
- Support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
