What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and skilful Teaching Assistants for Northwood Community
Primary School, to support progress and learning for children with complex SEND needs and/or EHCPoutcomes. Northwood Community Primary School is a great place to work and the role will include workingwith children to support them in the following ways:
• To support cognition and learning and all learning needs across the four areas of SEND
• To support sensory regulation and behaviour
• To be aware of EHCP outcomes/targets for the children they are supporting
• To support our wider school by participating in an after school club
• To interact with parents/carers appropriately under the direction of the class teacher/phase lead
• To undertake relevant training and CPD
• To contribute to any other appropriate aspect of school life, under the direction of the Headteacher
