We have a unique and rare opportunity to appoint Academic Tutors in Biology.
The role of the Academic Tutor is to provide academic support and targeted intervention for KS4 and KS5 students in the school. These posts complement our ongoing programme.
Our students are high achievers who are focused, hardworking and self-motivated; many go on to further study at top universities. Progress 8 is outstanding with the latest figure of +0.99, ranking the school as one of the highest achieving state schools in the country.
Colchester County High School for Girls is a selective girls’ grammar school and part of the Alpha Trust. This school is a stimulating and friendly environment to work in, with an established programme of staff induction, training and development opportunities across Alpha Trust and Alpha Teacher Development. We are an outward-facing establishment committed to professional development and teacher-led action research. This is an amazing environment in which to teach and learn; creativity and innovation abound!
