About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a man in his 30s with a spinal cord injury.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Tracheostomy care and management
- Medication management, including Penicillin
- Meal preparation and essential household chores
- Support with physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises
- Monitoring grade 4 pressure sores
- Managing bladder and bowel function
- Ventilator Care
- Autonomic Dysreflexia and Asthma Management
You'll receive full training and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well prepared.
Key Requirements
- Flexibility
- Minimum 6 months of professional care experience
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date CV with full work history
