All Saints’ CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive School Based Family Worker to join our nurturing school community.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone motivated to make a real difference in children’s lives. You will work closely with pupils, families, staff, and external agencies, supporting pupils’ emotional well-being, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and engagement in learning.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about supporting children’s emotional, social, and mental health needs
  • Has experience working with children and young people, ideally within a school setting
  • Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and families
  • Has the ability to identify barriers to learning and develop targeted support plans
  • Can use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to help pupils regulate their behaviour
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is confident in liaising with external agencies including Social Care, CAMHS, and Early Help
  • Can maintain accurate safeguarding, behaviour, and attendance records
  • Is calm, approachable, and able to respond effectively during crisis situations
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
