Summary

Project Manager - IT Technical Delivery



Are you a successful IT Project Manager, specifically with technical delivery expertise and would love to use your skills to really make a difference and help change people's lives?

We're looking for a technically minded Project Manager for a 12-month fixed term to join our fabulous PMO team here at Platform Housing Group, the largest social housing association in the Midlands, but we're much more than just houses; we build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of our customers.



Working with us is more than just a job, you will be joining an amazing organisation that values you and your contribution, and in this role, you'll be joining our Enterprise PMO team to manage, support and deliver critical projects and change initiatives to support the Voids and Lettings Programme which forms part of Groups Core Change Programme for digitisation.

In this role will be responsible for projects which vary in size and complexity, supporting a variety of departments within the organisation focussing on the development and implementation of Platforms Microsoft Dynamics solution to support the Voids and Lettings Programme. You will be accountable for all aspects of project management including all project resources (including partners/subcontractors), project planning, scheduling, risk management, scope management, internal and external communications, status reporting, and resource management.

So, what are some of the things we are looking for?

-Project lead experience is essential, specifically within technical/business analysis, product or project management or similar in a Solution Delivery environment.

-Technical delivery experience, able to drive project quality and ensuring effective time management of technical teams in line with project timelines.

-Experience with Agile/Prince/MSP or scrum methodology and ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment

-Ability to work closely with Product Owners, Head of Development and Development Resources to plan and manage sprints and deployments

-Experience working collaboratively, able to identify and engage all key stakeholders, contributors, business and technical resources required for product/project updates and ensure contributors are motivated to complete tasks within the parameters of the requirements

While this role offers the flexibility of being home-based, occasional travel to Group offices and other locations, including Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester, is required.
