Crynodeb

Our Client is seeking a part-time Payroll Assistant to join their small team within HR on a temporary basis.
West London
Temporary
£140-160 per day
Working 1 day a week to process their small payroll for just over 150 employees

Duties include;

  • End-to-end processing of monthly payroll.
  • Input and verify payroll data accurately, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
  • Liaise with payroll provider to ensure smooth processing and reporting.
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely and supportive manner.
  • Support with pension enrolments, income protection and liaise with external providers as required.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Stay updated with payroll legislation and ensure compliance at all times.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and update the HRIS
  • Support HR queries and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist in drafting letters, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies.
  • Assist with data collection, cleansing, and transfer as we move to our new system.
  • Help test new system functionality and provide feedback to the project team.
  • Support with communications related to the new platforms.
  • Ensure employee data is migrated accurately and securely.


You will have;

  • Extensive previous experience within a payroll and HR administrative role.
  • Experience using TPS software is desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel - vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
