An exciting opportunity is available in the Integrated Equipment and Adaption Store. This store is key in providing the required solutions to the people of North Lanarkshire who are affected by disabilities and health conditions, enabling them to remain within their own home for as long as possible.
In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of the service, in accordance with the overall service brief and objectives agreed by the North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership, the South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership, North Lanarkshire Enterprise and Communities and NHS Lanarkshire.
You will ensure the service provided by the Integrated Equipment and Adaptions Store meets the daily requirements of people being discharged from hospital and other service users in our communities. Due to competing demands this task will be challenging and you will be expected to lead and motivate the stores team to achieve this to a high standard. You will also work with a variety of stakeholders including families across North Lanarkshire, Housing colleagues, Education and Families colleagues, Independent Providers, third sector colleagues, allied health professionals, home support and locality staff.
You will lead on continual improvement of performance of all supported business functions, developing and reviewing management information systems based on existing and future performance standards and ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and the Council’s Health and Safety Policy.
To carry out this role you it is essential that you have experience of working with the public and specifically people with disabilities and a track record of successful inter agency working.
Strong organisational skills, leadership skills and experience in leading a large multi-disciplinary team. Excellent communication skills and a professional qualification at degree level or equivalent are also essential.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.
Working Pattern:
Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm
Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
