Are you a certified and experienced telehandler driver available for immediate short-term holiday cover? We require a reliable operator for a busy new build housing site in Beverley starting immediately.
The Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of materials and site efficiency during this crucial cover period.
- Safe operation of the telehandler, including transporting and positioning various materials (e.g., bricks, insulation, roof trusses) around the development.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles promptly and securely.
- Conducting mandatory daily pre-start safety checks on the machine and immediately reporting any mechanical defects.
- Working closely with the Site Manager and various trade teams.
- Strict adherence to all site Health & Safety guidelines, particularly concerning lifting operations and restricted access areas.
- A valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification is mandatory.
- A valid CSCS Card is essential for site access.
- Proven experience operating a telescopic handler on an active residential construction site.
- High level of reliability and punctuality for the specified contract duration.
- Must supply and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Full UK driving licence.
