Summary
Responsible to Head of Department and Deputy Managers, for the day-to-day supervision, efficiency and leadership of the department. To ensure a high quality service from Sterile Services and Endoscopy ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and external guidance and supporting delivery of Trust objectives. To provide specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and to ensure the Trust meets all professional legislative requirements in delivering its service to high standards and maintain stock control. To observe all health and safety regulations including COSHH in accordance with the Trusts policy and departments quality standards and procedures. To participate in relevant health education programmes initiated within the Trust. Support the introduction and maintenance of quality systems and processes in the departments.
