We're Hiring: Freelance Site Manager
Location: Delamere
Sectors: Housing

Dayrate: £280 - £300 per day
Duration: Ongoing up to 12 months.

Fawkes & Reece are hiring for a Freelance Site Manager to look after the drainage package on a housing development in Delamere, with 114 homes already occupied and 52 in various levels of construction. The drainage on site is being re-done and the SM role is to manage the drainage package on the development. There's approx 12 months left on the development.

What you'll do as a Freelance Site Manager:

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of the drainage package, ensuring progress in line with programme.
  • Ensure project is completed in line with standards
  • Lead and co-ordinate drainage subcontractors, plant, and labour resources
  • Ensure all works comply with drawings and specifications
  • Conduct regular quality, safety, and environmental inspections
  • Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
  • Conduct daily site inspections
  • Liaise with engineers, local authorities

Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:

  • Experience in housing/drainage works
  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • Temporary Works Coordinator
  • First Aid - Not essential
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
  • UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Pay + Benefits

  • Day rate
  • £280 to £300 per day
  • Weekly pay on a Friday
