Primary Duties and Areas of Responsibility Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages. Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens. Prepare collection equipment, maintain sterile technique, and follow infection-control protocols. Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and reducing anxiety. Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic health systems. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate care if needed. Manage specimen inventory and ensure equipment is clean and functional. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and lab personnel to ensure timely sample processing. Skill & Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
