About the role
As the Site Supervisor your manager will be our Site Manager. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area in Yorkshire.
As the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for multi-trade workforce and appointed third party Sub-contractors per project
It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:
*External Works Projects
*Component replacement project
*Sustainability Projects
*Fire Door Installations
What you’ll do
*Organise and control an efficient and cost-effective work force for allocated areas of responsibility using direct labour and sub-contractors
*Assume specific responsibility for the day-to-day planning, organising and management of all elements of Planned projects whilst on site, in full compliance with all applicable legislation along with Vico Homes Policies and Procedures
*Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with legislation, standing orders, financial regulations, procurement regulations, Vico Homes customer care, policies and procedure, good / best practice and specified time constraints when applicable
What we’re looking for
*A qualification at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework in a relevant construction related field
*A minimum of 3 years in the construction industry with some supervisory experience on a construction project
*Confident in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and internal databases
*Communication skills and problem solving
