Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform picking and packing duties accurately to fulfil customer orders.
Assist in building pallets for shipping and ensure proper materials handling techniques are followed.
Engage in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Forklift license is essential.
Strong skills in picking, packing, and materials handling are essential for this role.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
