Here at Sheffield Hallam University we are recruiting for 2 IT Support Analysts to provide specialist advice and support within the IT Services team, ensuring that requests for technical support are fulfilled within resolution targets, meeting customer needs.
Digital Technology Services Directorate. Our Digital Technology Service has been configured not only to deliver excellent IT services, but also to drive major IT development and change. It is a large service focused on enabling, implementing, and supporting a wide range of technology to meet the needs of the University Community.

As an IT Support Analyst, you will deliver specialist advice and support, based on an in-depth knowledge and understanding of first and second line customer support provision, within agreed resolution targets.
We are looking for candidates with experience of carrying out IT and AV solution support activities, as well as knowledge of various types of IT hardware and software. Experience of supporting events would be of benefit.
It is essential that Candidates have the willingness and ability to work weekends and evenings subject to business needs, as well as experience of leading operational activities in relevant service area/ function or acting as a point of escalation.

You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
