Are you an exceptional teacher looking to take the next step into leadership? Do you want the chance to make a wider impact and help shape the future of a growing primary school? If you’re driven by improving outcomes for all children, this could be the ideal move for you.

A newly established primary school in Essex is looking for a confident and experienced Assistant Head Teacher to join their leadership team. The school opened in 2024 and is at an exciting point in its development, offering the chance to help shape whole-school culture and drive consistent standards across all year groups.

Working closely with the Head of School and wider leadership team, you’ll play a key role in raising the quality of teaching and learning, supporting staff, and ensuring every child receives the very best education.

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Can lead, motivate and inspire the whole school community

  • Has high expectations for learning and teaching

  • Brings energy, vision and a passion for school improvement

  • Communicates well and builds strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents

  • Has proven experience driving improvements in teaching, learning or curriculum areas

    In return, the Trust offers:

    • Motivated and enthusiastic children

    • A committed and supportive team

    • Strong opportunities for career progression

    • High-quality training and professional development

    • Competitive pay and annual increments

    • Access to staff well-being programmes and an Employee Assistance Programme

    • Salary sacrifice schemes for tech and bicycles

    • A fully resourced curriculum and reduced marking expectations

    • Clear policies that support staff wellbeing and behaviour management

    • Collaboration and shared best practice across multiple schools

The successful candidate will help raise aspirations, model high-quality pedagogy and support positive outcomes for every child. This is a brilliant chance to grow your leadership career within a respected and forward-looking Multi Academy Trust.
