Working Hours: 1:00 pm – 5:15 pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
About the Role
We are seeking a warm, patient, and reliable Companionship Carer to support an individual in Kilburn, North West London. The role focuses on providing companionship, emotional reassurance, and gentle daily support. Candidates should have experience supporting individuals with dementia or be willing to undertake dementia care training.

Key Responsibilities
Companionship & Emotional Support
• Provide friendly conversation, social interaction, and meaningful company throughout visits.
• Offer reassurance and supportive guidance to someone living with dementia.
• Encourage engagement in hobbies, light activities, and community involvement.
Daily Living Assistance
• Assist with light household tasks including meal preparation, tidying, and laundry.
• Provide reminders and gentle support with daily routines.
• Accompany the client on walks, errands, or appointments in the Kilburn area.
Home & Safety Support
• Help maintain a calm, dementia-friendly home environment.
• Observe and report any changes in wellbeing or behaviour.
• Assist with small errands or shopping.

Requirements
• Dementia care experience or willingness to complete dementia care training.
• Kind, patient, and empathetic personality.
• Good communication skills and a supportive approach.
• Professional, reliable, and able to maintain clear boundaries.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work 10:00am–8:00pm, Monday–Saturday, with flexible days as required.
