Our Lady & St Paul's RC Primary School are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust as it continues its journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
Our Lady & St Paul's RC Primary School is a caring, supportive and forward-thinking Academy, part of the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust. Based in Heywood, the school has excellent transport links to the surrounding areas of Rochdale, Bury and Manchester with the M60 and M62 within easy reach.
The role will be based in the main office, reporting to the Office Manager. Acting as a first point of contact undertaking reception duties and answering telephone calls and face-to-face enquiries. This is a busy and varied role giving the opportunity to be involved in may areas of the school's administrative side.

We are seeking an individual who:
- Has previous experience of working in a similar role in an educational setting.
- Has experience of a range of administrative work.
- Has an understanding of the importance of safeguarding/child protection when working in a school setting.
- Is able to build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils, colleauges, parents and visitors.
- Is able to organise own workload and prioritise tasks/solve problems within a busy environment.
- Has excellent communication skills and aiblity to deliver effective customer service over the telephone and in person.
- Is able to follow instructions and work within policies and procedures without direct supervision.
- Has experience of using computer packages, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
