Your new role
As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families to overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes. You will work directly with parents, carers, education providers and children to provide practical and emotional support, helping them build resilience and access the services they need. You will be required to deliver tailored support to families experiences a variety of challenges and will be conducting home and school visits; carrying out assessments and working with multiple agencies to get the best results for not only the young person but the whole family.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need a minimum L3 qualification in a relevant field and have at least 2 years experience as a Family Support Worker. As this role involves travelling across Sandwell you will be required to have access to a car for work purposes and have business insurance. An enhanced DBS is also required for this role.
