The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic Administrator to join our busy Pastoral Support Team. If you’re organised, proactive, and passionate about making a difference in schools, this role is for you. We’re looking for someone with strong admin skills, great communication, and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be at the heart of our school community, supporting staff, students, and parents while enjoying a collaborative and rewarding environment. With training opportunities and a chance to grow, this is more than just a job - it’s a role where you can truly make an impact.In this position, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the educational support and pastoral leads, ensuring that key processes relating to student welfare and safeguarding are managed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include coordinating paperwork and documentation for statement and plan reviews, safeguarding referrals, and student interventions such as school swaps and managed moves. You will prepare and collate materials for meetings—including PEPPs for Children Looked After, exclusion reviews, and safeguarding/SEND discussions—acting as clerk when required. Through this work, you will help maintain a smooth administrative operation that underpins the school’s commitment to student support and wellbeing.The ideal candidate will:
• Have a strong academic background, demonstrated by achieving 5 or more GCSEs at grade C or above (including Mathematics and English) or equivalent qualifications.
• Possess recent and relevant experience in school-based administration or reception work.
• Be willing to undertake First Aid training.
• Be proficient in using MS Office applications.
• Exhibit excellent telephone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
•Communicate confidently and effectively, building professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail. • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
