The mental health needs that we treat are wide and varied with each service user bringing their own unique life story with them. Duties will include, but not exclusive to are: Screening of new referrals in preparation for assessment Conducting Initial Assessments for those between the ages of 11-25 years Supporting and being part of the daily Duty rota system Individual Caseload holding and management delivering evidenced based mental health treatment interventions to children/ young people both on a one-to-one basis and in some group settings. Liaising with and where appropriate offering support and signposting to families/carers of our service users Interventions are predominantly delivered from our clinic base but can also be in the community or in some cases home visits which means the ability to travel independently and have access to a car is essential. We also deliver interventions via online methods where appropriate on platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Multi-agency working with partner organisations such as acute hospitals, primary care sector, children and adult social care, education and voluntary services et al Participating and actively contributing in team meetings and reflective practice sessions Maintaining a high standard of clinical record keeping making sure care plans and risks assessments and other essential data is always kept up to date Ensuring high levels of compliance in relation to statutory mandatory training and making sure that you receive monthly line management and clinical supervision as well as yearly appraisals.
