We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for Waking Night Support Workers.

Due to continued success, and growth we are delighted to share that we are opening our new supported living service in early 2026! George House based in Darlington comprised of 14 flats, will be providing specialist support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.

All staff members receive thorough inductions and are led by an experienced and dedicated manager. Support hours for people we support vary according to individual care plans, and support is tailored around specific skills and needs.

What we’ll give you:

£12.60 per hour.
Full time 40 hours per week.
Waking nights 9 pm to 9 am. Shifts can change to suit the needs of the people we support, so flexibility is a must. Weekend, and bank holiday working will be required.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting individuals with their personal, physical, and emotional needs throughout the night.
Completion of nightly duties, including domestic and administrative tasks.
Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
Undertaking training online and face to face where necessary.
Personal care.
Supporting one to one.
Who you are:

Shifts can change to suit the needs of the people we support, so flexibility is a must.
The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire, and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Motivated and a team player.
Experience working in a social care setting supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism is preferred, but not essential.
Drivers preferred.
