Crynodeb
We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team.
As well as providing a personal care service, you will be expected to provide support with activities such as creative arts, the celebration of diverse calendar events throughout the year. Support with other activities such as gentle exercise, Bingo, games, booking of entertainment and outings.
The post is 20 hours per week on 4 days on 4 days off rolling rota which is as follows:- Mornings: 7am to 12.30pm, Evenings: 16.30 to 22.00pm.
30 minutes will be added to the 4th shift to ensure 20 hours i.e. 7am to 13.00pm, 16.00pm to 22.00pm. The rota will include weekends and Bank Holidays where required.
At least 2 years’ experience of working with individuals with a physical or mental health disability is essential.
Experience and knowledge around how to support older people including with activities.
Support with Personal Care, administer medication as required.
The ability to encourage individuals to participate in daily living skills and activities.
